Celebrities show off cake decorating skills

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) --They aren't known for their cake decorating skills, butWednesday morning you couldn't tell as local celebrities showed off their talents, all for a good cause.

Pat Day, Bob Valvano, Roger Burkman, and Susan Sweeney Crum created cakes that have a special meaning to them. The cakes will be part of a silent auction during the Celebrities, Forks, & Dreams event at Vincenzo's Thursday night.

A $100 ticket gets you a three-course gourmet Italian dining experience served by local celebrities.

Dream Factory VolunteerLogan Hornback says,"I'm hoping to raise a bunch of money and all of this money goes to the children at the Dream Factory. A dream for a child costs about $5,000. We want to raise a bunch of money."

The Dream Factory grants dreams to chronically ill children ages 3 to 18.
