It looks like not even A-list status can help gain access to the latest sold-out Missoni for Target collaboration.
When a high demand for 400-piece collection crashed Target.com in less than two hours after going on sale Tuesday morning, shoppers and stars alike have lost out on scoring a deal on the designer duds.

Kyle Richards shared her Target trials and tribulations over multiple tweets Tuesday. "I'm already having a panic attack over not being able to get my hands on the Missoni for Target home line. Missoni at Target is sold out IN the store.....waaa!!!!!!!"
The Office actress Mindy Kaling also took to Twitter to vent her frustrations: "@target broke my heart today when I could not access their site once in 9 hours for Missoni."
According to the New York Times, the craze seen on the retailer's website and in stores for the limited-edition accessories, apparel, and housewares beat out any demand on Black Friday as shelves nationwide were wiped clean.

But while fans were hitting refresh on the broken web page, early birds who first got the colorful zig-zagged worms listed their Missoni for Target items on eBay, and by 5 p.m. Tuesday, 6,600 pieces from the line were listed in the online auction site.
"So all of @target is totally sold out of Missoni and the only way to get it is from extorting eBay trolls??" Kaling tweeted.
Busy Philips expressed similar sentiments: "Can I just say, the people putting the Missoni for Target stuff on eBay?? Total FAIL."
New Girl star Zooey Deschanel responded to Kaling, saying "should probably be called Missoni for Target for eBay."
Jessica Alba and Jessica Simpson were also among the celebs drooling over the pieces.
"I dreamt about the Missoni 4 Target bike last night...wonder if that was a premonition :) Maybe @cash_warren is going to get it 4 me?!?" Alba tweeted on September 7. Simpson followed up by responding, " I want that bike too!!! So cute!"

Not all of Hollywood was buying into the craze, though.
Denise Richards tweeted, "Well I missed the boat on Missoni and Target...heard the bike was really cool!"
And even though nabbing the designer discount proved that some stars are "Just Like Us," fans backlashed at celebs for coveting the line.
One Kyle Richards' followers tweeted, "selfish of u to buy Missoni from Target when u can afford full price. its 4 the ppl who dont have ur $." "WOW," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate quipped.
While most of the women's clothing is sold out (save for lingerie styles), shoppers can still score hair accessories, select items from bedding and bath and the $400 bicycles as of Wednesday evening.
