Celebrities play golf for a good cause
The action was hot and heavy for the 31st Annual Hilton Head Island celebrity Golf Tournament on Friday.
Anumber of famous athletes, performers and television personalities are taking part in the event, which benefits local charities.
Round one got underway on Friday at the Palmetto Dunes Golf Course.
Those involved says it's great to be part of a tradition that has raised millions of dollars since 1978, when the tournament first took place.
"It's great that they're doing that. I don't know the particulars of it but when you can have this much fun and help local charities, it's pretty much a win win situation," said Actor Terry O'Quinn of the TV show Lost.
Round two will be heldon Saturdayat the Pete Dye Course at Colleton River and round three will be held Sunday at the Harbour Town Golf Links at Sea Pines.
